Signing the pledge

This week Labour Councillors and Candidates were proud to sign the Bristol Zero Tolerance Pledge. Bristol Zero Tolerance is an initiative set up by Bristol Women’s Commission working towards Bristol becoming a city free from gender-based violence, abuse, harassment and exploitation.

The Pledge itself commits signatories to support and focus on the needs of victims, to take action against perpetrators, and to encourage bystanders to speak out and do the right thing. A diverse number of organisations support Bristol Zero Tolerance, from the Council to the Universities to the NHS to the Police and more. Working together across the city we can make Bristol a safer, better place to live.
